Joel - Cà Maiol

Our Joel stems from the encounter between Fabio Contato and one of the world’s great chefs, Joël Robuchon.

The cuisine of this outstanding cook created a desire to produce a wine that was at once elegant and refined, precise and forthright. The choice of a particular grape variety, the indigenous Groppello, led Cà Maiol to seek out the finest terroirs where this cultivar reaches its peak in terms of personality, body and finesse.

That, then, is Joel, dedicated to the emotions that were aroused by this quest for a wine that was profoundly linked to its region of origin, the Valtènesi, and with its roots anchored in that zone’s history.
