A harmonisation of flavours and atmospheres, the land of Lugana wine extends from the south of Lake Garda onto an unusually characteristic territory. The naturally chalky soil is stratified with compacted clay, this is the result of the erosion processes of the last two ice ages, which have created grand morainic amphitheatrical effects in the countryside around the low-lying lake.
With the contributing benefits of the mild lake climate these lands have become the ideal location for the cultivation of an autochthonous monovine of unique quality that gives the palate a delicate tasting white wine of an unmistakeable freshness, a wine that is a genuine expression of its territory of origin.
